The Six Questions Every Guest Answers

Every episode follows the same format. No surprises. These are the questions I will ask you — so you know exactly what to expect before we sit down.

01
What is the biggest decision you have ever made in your career — the one where you had the least information and the most at stake?
02
What did you know at the time that gave you the conviction to move forward when others would have waited?
03
Was there a moment you seriously considered walking away from what you built? What kept you in?
04
What is the one decision you got wrong that taught you the most about how you lead?
05
Who is the person who told you something you did not want to hear — and turned out to be right?
06
What do you know now about building something that lasts that you wish you had understood at the beginning?

These six questions are the foundation. Follow-up questions happen naturally in conversation — that is where the best moments come from.

Your Host

Joseph Soares served as an advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada during the 2008 global financial crisis and was Chief of Staff at the Senate of Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been featured in Forbes and Newsweek on leadership and decision-making.

He built Corridor Intelligence because the most important decisions in business never get told honestly — and the leaders who made them deserve a space to share what it actually cost.
